Thanks for your input.
Honestly, it wasn't until I read your poll and the discussion following that I thought about the fact that there are probably many readers who are not familar with the whole realm of "Saints in/for the Garden."
They (the saints) have always been there for me
The statues, even as saccharine as some are, are just a manifestation of what I recognize as "friendship" ...and no I haven't "flipped out."
I use to tell "Sunday School" students that we surrounded by friends that we can't necessarily see ![]()

PS One of my all-time favorites is Teresa of Avila who was dynamic, but had nothing, that I can figure out, with plants at all!
