- Francis of Assisi, Thinker, and His Garden Statue
Thank you twice over - first, for your fascinating blog entitled "Francis of Assisi" that relates to our exciting discussion of him from my Great Thinkers; second, for leading me to St. Francis of Assisi Garden Statue in your Landscape. It's great how we learn from each other. I love it! I've written blogs for you over at my Great Thinkers - 'Recent Poll' and 'Science Thinkers' - http://greatthinkers.suite101.com/
Best to your Landscapes!

Thanks for your input.
Honestly, it wasn't until I read your poll and the discussion following that I thought about the fact that there are probably many readers who are not familar with the whole realm of "Saints in/for the Garden."
They (the saints) have always been there for me
The statues, even as saccharine as some are, are just a manifestation of what I recognize as "friendship" ...and no I haven't "flipped out."
I use to tell "Sunday School" students that we surrounded by friends that we can't necessarily see ![]()
Keep up the great job at Great Thinkers [http://greatthinkers.suite101.com/]

PS One of my all-time favorites is Teresa of Avila who was dynamic, but had nothing, that I can figure out, with plants at all!

I've a learnt a lot from you, and I'm sure will pick up new things as I get the chance to visit your Landscape.
It's amazing how we all learn from each other.
G'day!
