» Edna2006 - Designing forms with plants

Several years ago, I started a form of a women with several tomato cages covered with a planting blanket. I planted several ivy type plants in the blanket and the center of the tomato cages are filled with ameded soil. The lower part or the dress of my form is doing well. Now its time for the top of her. I thought about starting with an old shirt and stuff it for the shape. Then cover the shirt with peices of hardware cloth to make the framework. The top part of my wormens body has been very difficult to figure out how to create. Any other ideas?

Something else for this year, I want to create some designs with grass seed. For example a heart. The heart would be flat on the ground, about 12 inches, and cut by hand. Other shapes could be a teddy bear and a house. I would love to read your thoughts about my ideas.

Sharon
