Wildflowers in Home Landscapes

National Trails Day, Saturday, June 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Austin, TX features children's author

Lynne Cherry, author of "The Great Kapok Tree" and "The Armadillo from Amarillo," will spend the day at the Wildflower Center, signing books from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. She will lead a hike at 10:30 a.m., then from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. she will present a slide show and lead a workshop on how to use nature to help children learn.
